Noone gets hurt, amazingly. This is why it's important to actually obey IFR rules, like sector altitudes. These people were unprepared to encounter cloud, yet they continued to valley-crawl while in IMC. I'm amazed this footage wasn't recovered at a crash scene.

Well - they talk about the 'Old' and the 'Bold'. These guys looked quite young - and if they haven't learnt, that's the way they'll stay...

The comments on the original YouTube post of the video are interesting. Apparently there's an FAA investigation ongoing.

Holy shit... Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
I've found a new charter pilot! (For my worst enemies.)

I get even more angry with their stupidity when I hear the laughter at the end of the sound track. Bravado? I'm thinking so.

I very much doubt this would have happened if they didn't have the fancy moving map with terrain. People seem to think it's okay to use it instead of looking out the window.

Shocking.

That scared the **** out of me. The thing that astounded me was the oblivious expression on his passengers face. It amazes me that anyone can be that cavalier with someone elses life.
