*Update* From yesterday's post. We got back from the Doc's office just now and baby Balthor* is scheduled to make his debut blog post on Monday at 8am. My last sleep-in weekend! Ever :)
Congrats, rest up and look forward to the ride. Don't worry TOO much - my daughters both were born at 28 weeks due to issues, are now fit and healthy 15 year olds driving Daddy up the wall! Word from the wise - don't forget to buy Mommy a gift for after the brith. I did, and paid for it....
Sleep? Hah! The first year or ten is a wonderful sleep deprived high which renders memeory void and common sense less common than one might wish. Which is an excuse for all sorts of random acts of wildness!Enjoy the ride!
Best wishes for you and your new family member! My sons are 7 and 16 months. I'll just say that I'm happy to trade sleep in order to enjoy them. I'm sure that you'll enjoy being a dad.

ReplyDelete*Last* sleep-in? Nah... you'll get another shot when he's on a sleepover in ten years or so.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy! It's a very magical time and event.
