All Hail Baby Balthor*!! This is his portrait, taken as of yesterday when we found out he is going to be a he. He's still baking, but we have high hopes for midnight on Halloween, when he is scheduled to make his first appearance out in the world.

Congrats! My wife and I are still waiting on our first little one, a girl. We're looking at the middle/end of July. Good luck to you all!

  2. So awesome, congrats! My second son is just over 1 year old and while it is a huge amount of work (mental and physical), it's more than worth it!

  3. Congrats! Boys are easier than girls IMHO. At least at first, then you'll just need xanax and patience. And a copy of "Go the F(*k to Sleep" by Adam Mansbach and illustrated by Ricardo Cortes. I wish we'd have had it when ours were little. LOL.

Did the doc take a big yellow marker and circle the boy parts and say yep, that's a boy!

  11. Cosmic. We are due the same day!

We are going the surprise gender determination at birth route, and so our latest ultrasound included a note "genitalia normal"

Anyway, best wishes to you, and good luck with the job candidate selection process.
