Well, if you pronounce Phuket like it were an English word, you'd get: ph=f, u=u (as in truck), k=ck, et=it (roughly).
My brother decided to go there on vacation, spur of the moment. I thought he should have a shirt that said, "Phuket, I'm out of here!" It was funny at the time.
I'll have to find out which one of our advertising wizards came up with that one.... Very amusing.
