This is a helicopter tour of Rio De Janeiro. After the first 40 seconds, I'm thinking you'll agree that the pilot is clearly insane. But it looks like a hell of a fun ride.
Hey! That is part of a movie "Roberto Carlos em Ritmo de Aventura" made in Brazil (1968). For more info: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0188180/ -Valcareggi
Apparently the guy in the movie is actor-singer Roberto Carlos, and the real pilot was a guy named Raimundo Soares who was a pioneer brazilian chopper pilot back then -that's over 40 years ago... Yes they had the authorization to shoot this, but as Sarah said, what if the engine quit... I dont think that would be allowed nowadays, even in South America...
Did I really just see that?
ReplyDelete70s or 80s?
ReplyDeleteYow. Pigeon-cam.
ReplyDeleteFun, but what if the engine coughed? The guy is obviously invulnerable but I'm not sure about Rio.
I just don't see why some people have a fear of GA...
